SIGNATURE FLUSH MOUNT WEDDING ALBUMS

Dec 28, 2012 | Albums, Products

The late fall is always a busy time for me, not just with weddings and engagement sessions, but also with album design!  I’ve designed a ton of wedding albums over the last few months, and I wanted to share some photos of two of my recent favorites.  Both albums are Signature flush mount books, but they are different sizes and have different cover options.  Emily and Mike chose the standard 10×10 size, then upgraded their cover to the gorgeous Gramercy leather in white, the top end leather option offered by my awesome album company.  They also added their names on the front cover, using the raised lettering style that I love.  The result: a sleek, sexy album that is both modern and classic.  Here are both albums together:

And here are a couple of photos of just Emily and Mike’s album, with detail photos showing off the raised lettering and modern square spine:

And here’s a photo of their album open on the second spread; because the spreads are printed on one piece of photographic paper, you can actually design right across the spread (there’s no gutter or gap between the two pages).

Katie and Kyle also have a Signature album, but they went with the more modern horizontal design, in an 8×12 size. I absolutely love their chosen cover material, the silk shantung in midnight blue – so pretty and timeless:

And I couldn’t post album photos without showing you a little of the designs inside; here are three favorite spreads from Emily and Mike’s wedding at the MIT Chapel and the Exchange Conference Center:

And three from Kyle and Katie’s beautiful outdoor wedding at The Codman Estate:

You can find tons more info on albums on my wedding album information page (click for the link), and there are some previous client albums blogged here.
