BEST OF 2012: ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS

Jan 1, 2013 | Engagements

At the end of the year, it’s so much fun looking back on all of the weddings, engagement sessions, and families that I’ve photographed.  I like to compile a “best of” post showcasing some of my personal favorites of each of my clients, and I figured what better way to start the new year than with some fun, sweet, sexy, silly, bold and wonderful engagement photos!  This year, I’ve photographed mostly Boston engagement sessions, with locations in the North End, the South End, Brookline, JP (my hood!), the Seaport District, Harvard Square, MIT, Beacon Hill, the Esplanade, and of course the ever-popular Public Garden.  Only a few sessions took place outside of the city, and I hope to do more further afield next year as I really love discovering new places.  This year I was lucky enough to take photos in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, on the Cape (not actually an engagement session, but definitely some of my favorite couples photos of the year), and out in Lexington, MA.

I encourage my clients to make their sessions as unique to them as possible, and I was super excited to photograph my first documentary style session with Allison and Eric this fall – we had a lot of fun baking cookies and changing the tire on a bike!  Other fun activities this year included eating ice creams at JP Licks and taking a variety of doggies for walks and plays.  Anyway, I hope you enjoy this sampling of photos from the last twelve months … and let me know in the comments below if you have any particular favorites!
