Wellesley College Wedding: Catherine + Theis Portraits and Ceremony

Jun 24, 2010 | Weddings

We didn’t have much time before the midday ceremony, so we stayed in the same pretty, shady spot and grabbed a few more photos of Catherine and Theis …

… then we added in family and friends.  I love the bright, lush green of Theis’ tie, and the photo of him and his dad laughing:

I wanted to get some great shots of the gorgeous belts that Catherine had made for her bridesmaids.  The brooches were sourced specifically for each girl from Catherine’s favorite vintage store.  Perfect!

A few last relaxed shots before the ceremony:

The ceremony took place in the Wellesley Arboretum.  Such a pretty spot (but such evil midday sun for me to contend with, ha!)

Huge thanks to my assistant Laura James for her wonderful presence, for lugging my huge camera bag across campus, and for taking the lovely wide angle ceremony shot below.  🙂

After the ceremony we all processed across campus to TZE House for the reception … stay tuned for my favorite photos of the day!

  2. Hi I’m having a small (35 people) wedding at the Wellesley College Club in early November 2011. I love your photos of Catherine & Theis and would like to find out how much you would charge for 2 hours of photography. Please email me back to the above address. Thank you!
