Stephanie + Phil’s wedding was held just down the road from the Wentworth-by-the-Sea Hotel at the Country Club. Steph arrived in style with her father on a horse-drawn carriage, an amazing surprise gift from Phil. This is actually BETTER than the recent royal wedding, where only the exit was by carriage. 🙂 Thanks to my fantastic assistant Ashley Conti for the close-up of Steph below:
To my surprise – and utter delight – there were tears during the processional. I didn’t even see them until I was editing this image of Phil:
Phil is Jewish, and Steph Christian. The result was a fantastic ceremony combining traditions from both religions.
What a setting for a wedding … love this vista!
Guests were provided with white parasols and pretty wooden fans to help keep cool (it was a blistering 90-something out that day!) They looked so pretty with the sun shining through …
There were some very cute and fun moments during the vows.
It is rare to get 360 degree access during a wedding ceremony – so both Adam Flaherty (super lovely videographer) and I took advantage of the relaxed rules:
These guys were grinning through most of the ceremony. 🙂
After the ceremony (and some quick group photos), I spent a little time taking portraits with Phil and Steph. My favorites are often the in-between shots like these two below, when the couple is less camera-aware …
… but then again, you can’t beat the high drama of portraits like this:
And as a little taste of things to come in the final post later this week, here are a couple more couples photos from after dinner (that light was dreamy) …
Ridiculously awesome! The horse & carriage would not have happened if it wasn’t for Steph’s dad Gene, he deserves the credit – what a great partner to be in cahoots with! Talk about arriving in style 🙂
Can’t wait for part III!
Very nice photography work, I love that super wide shot with the veil blowing in the wind.
