Phil and Steph’s reception was vibrant and happy and chock full of couples portraits! Here’s an early favorite to start with (it was previewed right after the wedding on my Facebook page):
The reception kicked off with Phil and Steph’s first dance, to At Last sung by Steph’s sister. I had goosebumps throughout … her voice was magical.
There were plenty of funny moments during the toasts, but my absolute favorite was the photo I caught of one of the flower girls … I guess the toasts made her quite mad!! 😉
Some details …
… and some more portraits …
Steph’s dance with her father was amazing – I think it was a samba, and these guys have some serious talent!
Phil’s dance with his mom was really sweet and emotional:
The cake was deeeelicious (yes, I might have sneaked a tiny taste!)
Beautiful light and tons of time makes for a very happy photographer. I love these shots of Phil and Steph!
This light was ridiculous. Look at it!
There was also a lot of very fun dancing (I’ll save most of this craziness for the full galley) …
… and the perfect end to the afternoon was a sparkler exit. Definitely my favorite exit of all time. Thank you Steph and Phil for an incredible afternoon and evening, for giving me so much portrait time to play with, and for having the most wonderful friends and family. I hope you’ve enjoyed the teasers!
