Newcastle Golf Club Wedding: Jaimie + Jeff

Aug 4, 2009 | Weddings

On Saturday, just over a year after my first wedding there, I headed back to Newcastle Golf Club for Jaimie and Jeff’s beautiful sun kissed wedding.  I started the afternoon as the girls were making the finishing touches to their hair and makeup, and just in time for the fabulous moms to join us.  It was a fun atmosphere in there and I love the shots of Jaimie laughing her head off as she was helped into her dress.  Once she was ready, I went on a mini mission to find the guys and got a couple of fun shots of them playing pool – before being kicked out of the bar for not having my ID (eek!  I’m thirty years old, you’d think I could get away without it by now!)  Luckily it was past time for the first look, so Jeff and I headed outside and took our positions.

After a super cute first look and some family formals, I grabbed the bridal party and hit the long grasses and hills for some very fun shots.  We got a couple of great jumping shots and I just love the images of Jaimie and Jeff walking around the course and through the grasses.  After that it was a very short ceremony, then on to the most magical sunset cocktail hour on the terrace.  That view at sun down is one that every Seattleite should see at least once in their lifetime.  It’s truly breathtaking.  After that, it was dinner (amazing sea bass!), toasts and dancing.  I have to give a quick shout-out to the Gen X Pro guys who did an awesome job of MCing and DJing, I loved working with them.  Thank you for a very fun day, Jeff and Jaimie, and enjoy your teasers below and the highlights slideshow (click here)!
