Oh my lordy, these kids scrub up well! Last Saturday I headed up to the Lynnwood/Shoreline area for Dianne and Mike’s wedding. I started the day with Dianne and her bridesmaids for some very relaxed and happy getting ready shots. Dianne, who is usually sweet and goofy, was absolutely regal in her wedding gown – she looked phenomenal. It was also fun getting to hang out with her girls: they are as sweet as can be and quite hilarious. 🙂
After a little while, I headed over to St Pius X Church to meet with Mike and the guys. Mike was as goofy as ever … but it blew me away how sharp he looked with his long hair gone and his fabulous suit. You’d never know that these were the same people (click the link!) After an awesome first look, we took a few formals and captured lots of behind the scenes silliness. My favorite!
The reception was at a new venue for me, The Nile Shrine Golf Course. It’s a pretty spot and the staff there is amazing to work with. I loved how they combined their cultural traditions of Chinese and Filipino. There was a mini tea ceremony, lots of crazy Filipino dancing, and desserts galore (cake, desert table, baklava, ice cream …) And have I told you recently how much I LOVE my assistant Fiona? She set up and worked the photobooth and got my absolute favorite photos from the day. Fiona, you are awesome!
