Marina Park Pavillion: Misty + Ryan

Sep 10, 2008 | Weddings

On Saturday, I made a short trip across the water to Kirkland for Misty & Ryan’s Gatsby era themed wedding at the delightful Marina Park Pavilion.

I started the day at Misty’s hotel in Totem Lake for some getting ready shots with her mom and aunt and various little ones who kept popping in and out.  I love how Misty ran with the 1920s theme – as well as her gorgeous 1920s gown, she had a vintage veil, a handkerchief from her grandma’s collection, and some gorgeous old pearls.

The ceremony and reception were at Marina Park Pavilion in Kirkland, right on the water and next to a very cute little park.  It was decorated with lavender (their colors were lavender and sage) and it smelled divine.  The cake, by Kelli Morse, was gorgeous – I must have spent a good ten minutes taking detail shots of it from every possible angle!

It was such a relaxed afternoon – just eating, drinking and enjoying the beautiful weather.  At the end of the afternoon we headed out onto the docks, around the park and finally back to the hotel for couple shots.  Congratulations to Ryan and Misty – and have a fabulous time on your European honeymoon!
