We’ve had some beautiful days in the Boston area this fall, and last week we had possibly the most gorgeous yet – it was the perfect afternoon to explore Crane Beach and the Crane Estate with Teresa and Jason. These two awesome people found me through Kim and Edric, whose wedding I photographed last year. Teresa used to do dragon boat racing with Kim (so cool!) and it turns out we have another mutual friend too, one of my favorite ever DJs, Nate of White Label DJs. It’s a small world.

I met up with Jason and Teresa mid afternoon for some fun exploring. I’d never been to Crane Beach before (although I’m dying to photograph a wedding at the Crane Estate!) and as I told them that afternoon, photographing in new places makes me so happy. It definitely gets my creative juices flowing more than the same old spots in Boston! We started our session on a salt marsh just next to the beach. The sky was amazing, and the ground was golden. These guys were super fun, super into each other, and needed no prompting to have fun and go for it. Perfect!

After the salt marshes we hit the beach proper which was completely deserted, then headed over to the Crane Estate to explore the grounds there … and wow, what a magical place! I also got to witness Jason’s mad ninja skills as he jump-kicked over his brave fiancee. So cool. Thank you both for such a fun afternoon, and for the amazingly scrumptious banana bread. You’ll be horrified to know that my husband didn’t even get to hear about it as I scoffed two pieces that afternoon on my drive home, and the following two the next day. It was way too good to share! I can’t wait for your wedding next August!
