Kate and Chris have the patience of saints – they’ve been waiting a while for these teasers – but it’s no great surprise as they are two of the loveliest people I’ve worked with. I had such a great afternoon hanging out with these two cuties, and their ridiculously awesome (and super soft) pup, Murph. I met them at their home in South Boston (Southie!) and we went for a stroll around one of their favorite spots in the ‘hood, Castle Island. They spend a lot of time here walking Murph, and it’s such a great spot for photos – lush, green grass, a cool old castle, and a sweet little patch of wildflowers (plus it’s right on the water).

I wanted their photos to capture their fun, relaxed personalities (they laugh and smile together all the time) but also the soft, sweet moments they share too. Here’s one of my favorite images showing the latter:

I love the joy that surrounds these two – adding a cute doggy into the mix just makes it even better. 🙂

This was one of my favorites of the day (tip for photographers here – if you’re shooting from a distance make sure you have cell phones on you so you can easily communicate any instructions to the couple without having to run back and forth!)

Chris officially has the best. laugh. ever.

We ended our afternoon together on top of the World Trade Center … yes, that was indeed incredibly cool! Kate is a property manager, so she called on a friend in the business who allowed us access. Yeah! I can’t wait to see what these guys come up with on the wedding day … No pressure, guys. 😉
