After dinner, and shortly before we were due to leave, the rain stopped and the sky opened up into this spectacularly moody tumble of clouds and light streaks. The banquet manager, Amy, took us off in golf carts to explore the landscape. Our first stop was this cool spot next to a big wooden bridge:
Puddles are always fun, and the bridge itself was cool too:
I wanted to grab some photos down by the bay before the weather turned again, so we jumped back into our carts and headed back to the club entrance. I love all the boats in the background in this series:
And finally, my favorite shots of the day. I just can’t get over that lush landscape …
Thank you Taylor and Melissa for a beautiful wedding, and for staying super cheerful despite the crazy weather. I hope you’ve enjoyed your extended teasers!

Thanks lady 🙂
Breathtaking scenery! I love the moody sky and the water – all the pictures you took make rain seem like a blessing for the wedding day 🙂 We really couldn’t have asked for a better photographer and thank you for working so hard for us, going all over the place in the crazy crazy weather! You’re the best!
