A couple of Saturdays ago, I shot my first New England wedding (yay!) up in the tiny and very cute town of Wenham, MA. It was a last-minute booking (thank you Channing!) and a lovely introduction to the north east. I started the day riding in a limo with Hadley, her mom, her matron of honor Lucy, and friend Catherine. We headed over to Hadley’s appartment where there was a flurry of getting ready, then it was off to the tiny back chapel of the First Church in Wenham for a short but sweet ceremony. Their officiant was an absolute gem, and flashed huge grins throughout.
After that, we went outside for a big group photo of the 35 or so family and friends, then some group photos in the church grounds. It was a perfect day, crispy and fall-like, but really sunny. Chris and Hadley were adorable together, and I loved that they needed no prompting for the many kisses and loving gazes that I captured between them. After photos we headed back inside, this time to the adorable Exchange at Wenham Tea House. We enjoyed a delicious cream tea, cute apps and some of the most amazing quiche I’ve ever eaten. The decor was perfect for fall (love the pumpkins) and there was a very yummy and pretty cake made by Lucy’s mom. At the end of the afternoon, I followed the guys outside where they were sneaking a couple of beers in the parking lot – love it! Thank you Chris and Hadley for a beautiful day, and special thanks to Hadley’s godfather Dan for arranging the photography for this gorgeous bride. 🙂 I hope you all enjoy the teasers below, and of course the slideshow (click here).

Love the rings on the pumpkin. As always Kate, you rock. 🙂
Hi Kate,
I would love to post any photos that you might have of the Wenham wedding, and also credit you for them…maybe we could do more weddings together!
