TAJ BOSTON WEDDING: DAN + ROWE PART TWO

Oct 4, 2011 | Weddings

It’s been a long time coming, I know, but here, finally, is part two of Rowe and Dan’s gorgeous Taj Boston wedding.  I had a super hard time narrowing down the image selections for this post, so I apologize that a) it’s a long post and that b) I still had to miss out a ton of great photos (including a really cool champagne toast and gift exchange back in the grooms’ suite before the ceremony).  Anyway, I’m sure you’re all dying to see the photos so here we are, back in the Taj Boston, on the rooftop.

The Taj rooftop is such a neat place for a ceremony; as well as the incredible views all across Boston, it is also bathed in natural light.

Rowe and Dan chose to escort each other down the aisle. They looked so nervous, and so excited. 🙂

The ceremony was very emotional, and each member of the bridal party played an integral part, with several readings throughout. I loved how personal JP Sue Wilson made the ceremony, and the pace was also perfect.

The vows and ring exchange were full of tears, hugs and kisses. The best!

And I love this one!

Cocktail hour included a bazillion hugs, lots of excited chatter, and music from Fensgate Chamber Players.

I was a little obsessed with the amazing views, and how they changed with the light. Special thanks to my assistant Erica for this wonderful shot:

At the end of cocktail hour, there were a couple of toasts, then it was straight into the reception in the main space.

These guys are so in love, and so happy. They were pretty cute to watch dance. 🙂

The theme for the evening was swanky nightclub and the transformation of the Taj’s rooftop was amazing – I loved the pink up-lighting, the shimmering silver curtain, and the amazing food stations (I got to eat sushi for my “vendor” dinner … yeah, I was pretty happy!!) Beat Train DJ D’hana Perry had the dance floor packed all night … love these shots:

Thank you all for a really fun, beautiful, and emotional day. Dan and Rowe, your friends and family couldn’t have been more welcoming, and of course you know that I adore you both. I can’t wait to share the full set of images with you in a couple of weeks!
