GREAT MEADOWS ENGAGEMENT SESSION: CHRISSY + JASON

Aug 8, 2011 | Engagements

On a beautiful afternoon last week, I met up with Chrissy and Jason for their engagement session.  We’d had to reschedule several times due to terrible weather and a poison ivy incident, but I’m SO glad we did … we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect afternoon to go exploring Great Meadows in Concord, MA.  Great Meadows is an amazing spot with pond after pond, tall reeds, crazy (and beautiful) bugs, and, that day, the loveliest light.  It’s also where Jason proposed to Chrissy last year.  🙂

These two are so cute together …

I loved this spot in the woodland – it’s just an old, rickety gate, but the light was magical there.

Some fun with silhouettes …

I might have been asking them to do silly things here … 😉

Maybe my very favorite shots of the afternoon – I loved the tall reeds, and I loved their playfulness:

After the main session was over, we headed back to Jason + Chrissie’s home in Belmont for a couple of photos with their new pup, Reggie. He’s awesome!

Thank you both so much for a super fun afternoon! I can’t wait for your wedding at Turner Hill in a few short weeks!
