Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center Wedding: Brian + Lindsay Reception

Nov 5, 2010 | Weddings

Lindsay’s and Brian’s reception was held at the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center, and I have to say it’s quite the cool venue.  The main room has amazingly high ceilings and is surrounded by a balcony – so much fun for getting cool table shots.  The space is also lit from above with colored lights – in this case pink and purple – which makes it quite pretty (but a little tricky to photograph, ha!)  The table settings were lovely, with fresh bunches of flowers, and table numbers featuring a photo of Brian and Lindsay at the age corresponding to each table number, one on the front, one on the back.

Guests started arriving by the coachload (literally) and filtered into the side room which is another great space: I loved the whitewashed walls and neat artwork:

Lindsay and Brian officially opened the reception with their first dance.  I adore how they were looking at each other throughout!

Then, after salad, it was time for toasts:

And to finish up, some photos from the post-dinner part of the reception.  Thank you all for a lovely day, and I hope you’ve enjoyed the teasers!  The full gallery will be available here soon.  🙂

  4. Kate, these photos are beautiful! We would love to be able to use some to promote the venue on our website (with your photo credit of course). Brian and Lindsay did such a beautiful job planning this wedding and Wildflour did an incredible job with the catering/planning!

  5. Brilliant set of story-telling images as ever Kate but how, pray tell, did you get that direct overhead shot of the round table? You don’t look quite that tall in your profile photo!
