Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center Wedding: Brian + Lindsay Preparations

Nov 1, 2010 | Weddings

A week last Saturday, I had my last Boston area wedding of the season – in Cambridge, in fact, at the Multicultural Arts Center.  I started my day with Lindsay and her bridesmaids at the Royal Sonesta Hotel for some getting ready and detail shots.  The girls were running just a touch behind schedule, but the lovely room and pretty light meant it was stress-free for me.  To start off, some detail photos of Lindsay’s amazing shoes, bridal purse and jewelry.  Her purse was an Etsy find and I am in love with it – and with her purple Nina shoes, too.  Yay for pretty details!

The rings above are her engagement ring, and a “something blue” ring – lovely!  Before getting ready, the girls popped some champagne, and toasted to a beautiful day.  🙂

After makeup, it was all hands on deck to get Lindsay into her dress and jewelry.  I loved how each girl helped out, and it was big grins and giggles all round.

Once the girls were dressed and ready, I hopped in a cab and headed over to the church to meet with Brian and his guys.  I was planning on taking some photos of them putting on their boutonnieres, but they were well ahead of the game and raring to go.  So instead, we headed into the Radcliffe Institute for some fun portraits and a few candids.

The black and white shot of the guys walking and talking is one of my favorite ever groomsmen photos – I love the candid feel to it, even though it was totally set up.  🙂  We had a lot of fun with the portraits, and I was more than happy to oblige when one of the groomsmen suggested we do a jumping shot.  Also, how dashing do these guys look in their black tuxes?  Love it!

The sweet first look and lots more portraits will be along in the next couple of days, so watch this space …
