Les Zygomates Wedding: Courtney + Darren Ceremony

Oct 8, 2010 | Weddings

After our portrait session at the Public Garden, I headed down to Les Zygomates for the ceremony, and to grab some detail shots of the setup.  Les Zygomates is a fantastic French bistro, and serving up fine wines by the glass (and even by the tasting glass) is one of their specialties … so what better theme than a wine theme?  Tables were named after great French wines, including Champagne for the head table.  Courtney chose the colors for the wedding from one of the vintage travel posters on the walls – such a great idea.

Do you like the abstract black and white?  It’s one of the ceremony room walls.  🙂

The ceremony was short and sweet, with just two readings.  It was a bit of a beast to photograph (the room was tiny, and jam-packed with chairs) but it’s a really neat space, great for intimate weddings.

I love the huge grins on Darren and Courtney’s faces as they recess!  After the ceremony we took a few minutes outside to capture some final portraits.  The Leather District is a gritty, cool area and it was great to get a chance to photograph there.

The final installment will be along in the next couple of days!
