I can’t tell you how happy I am now that wedding season is fully underway. There’s something about the buzz, and the pressure, and the crazy beauty of weddings that makes me feel alive. On Saturday, I headed down to beautiful Providence, RI, for Bailey and Joe’s wedding. The weather was ghastly (gray, gray skies and rain) so I spent a little longer than usual doing some pre-wedding location scouting around Brown University on College Hill, then headed into the Hope Club where Bailey and the girls were getting ready. Bailey’s room was awesome. Just look at it! And those flowers were arranged by Bailey, her mom, her sister Emily and bridesmaid Jess – perfection.
Bailey’s dress by Amsale Blue Label was nothing short of breathtaking, and it fit perfectly in the delightful arched French windows. 🙂
Bailey’s aunt applied her makeup. I love the shot of Bailey peeking around when her mom entered the room …
Bailey’s facial expressions are brilliant. Also, does she not look like she is channeling some famous 1940’s movie star here? I hadn’t realized quite how graceful she was before …
These final getting ready photos might just be my favorites … I love the feeling of serenity in the first image, and the grace and elegance as she walks down the stairs:
Stay tuned for some fabulously cute bridal portraits, and the first glimpse of the guys (they were looking pretty damn good too!)
These are fabulous! You captured Bailey’s beauty and grace as well as her zazz. Can’t wait for the next round of photos!
Thank you Jess! And I can’t wait to share the rest! 🙂
