Providence, RI Wedding: Bailey + Joe Bridal Party Photos

Jun 15, 2010 | Weddings

Once all the girls were ready, we headed out into the murky Providence afternoon for some fun group and bridal portraits.  Luckily, the area around the Hope Club is spectacularly pretty and filled with architectural gems – the perfect antidote to gray skies.  We started with some red brick portraits – I love Bailey’s ability to belly laugh on cue:

During my scouting mission earlier in the day, I’d found this Supreme Court building in the neighborhood.  I figured it would make a good photo spot …  well, Bailey made it spectacular.  I love, love, love this shot of her!

It was such a gorgeous spot that we decided to play here for a while.  I love how cute and sophisticated the girls look with their navy dresses and white blooms:

The beautiful bouquets were courtesy of Keri Lussier of Floral Express.  I should also mention that we were joined by awesome wedding videographer and documentary filmmaker Rocco Michaluk – if you’re looking for unobtrusive documentary coverage by a very cool guy, Rocco’s your man.  🙂

Just before the ceremony we squeezed in a few more group shots – this time with Joe and his boys.  I love the tuxes, guys!

Joe and his brothers were on fine form:

There’s just something about a groom in a tux.  Very cool.  These last shots were a lot of fun for me – it all started with me asking Joe’s guys to show him a bit of love …

Coming soon: the ceremony at the First Unitarian Church of Providence.

  1. Love these! The bridal portrait on the checkered floor is fantastic but I also love the one of her in the doorway of the red building. Great stuff!
