Museum of Science Wedding: Amy + Jon First Look and Portraits

May 24, 2010 | Weddings

Once the guys were ready, we started coordinating the first look.  Jon was hidden away to stare in one direction while Amy walked out to the row of trees lining the Charles behind Hotel Sonesta.  Amy was all over the place emotionally by this point, so I decided it would be the perfect time to get a few more photos of her.  🙂

This turned out to be such a great spot for the first look.  The light was very flat on Saturday, but the shade of the trees with the light coming in from the side gave some directionality and depth.  I loved their first look …

For group photos, Amy had found this awesome park opposite the Museum – it’s pretty new and a total gem.  I grabbed a few more couples portraits while we waited for the bridal party to join us.

I am so loving these colors!  Yellow and blue looking both fun and sophisticated … perfect!  And check out our take on the Abbey Road cover (these guys are HUGE Beatles fans).

Next up is their gorgeous Jewish ceremony at the Washburn Pavilion at the Museum of Science.
