Wow, it’s been quite the hiatus on the blog! I’ve been away so much over the last couple of months … and my final destination was California for Anne and Chris’ gorgeous Lake Tahoe wedding. I’ll be posting in bits over the next week or so, starting of course with the getting ready photos. Anne and Chris had rented a couple of fantastic vacation homes to stay in, party in, and get ready for the big day in. My first stop was at the girls’ place, up high on a hill overlooking the lake (its name – of course – was Overlook).
I loved all the greens, blues and creams in the house; like a softer version of the vibrant landscape outside, and the perfect backdrop for Anne’s elegant, creamy details. When I arrived, the girls had just finished breakfast (they saved me a plate – amazing!) and Anne was busy finishing up her vows.
After a while I headed down to the guys’ house, just in time to catch the final stages of dressing.
The guys were soooo quiet compared to the giggly girls on the other side of town, but they woke up in the end … and I have to say, I love this little sequence by the fireplace …
