I’m once again absolutely delighted to have placed in the latest contest by the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ISPWP).  It is a huge honor to have a successful image in the contest because the talent in the group is huge, and the number of entries incredible (I judged the winter 2010 contest which had almost 3,000 entries – and I have a feeling the competition grows each quarter).  Even more fun for me is that the image that ended up placing was from Emilie + Alexei’s Hurricane Irene wedding … hey, I can produce award-winning work even when soaked to the bone and battling a hurricane.  Yeah!  Thanks again to my wonderful assistant Charlotte for spending much of that day shielding me from the worst of the elements with a huge golf umbrella, and ultimately making this image possible:
