Scott contacted me a few months ago about the possibility of arranging a surprise photo shoot in Boston to celebrate his ten year wedding anniversary with Mel. What an awesome gift! (Josh, if you’re reading, this is something I would also like!) Mel and Scott live in Omaha, Nebraska but they love to travel, and Boston had been on their list for a while. They have various connections to the area, including a grandmother on the Cape, and old friends who moved here. We met up on the final evening of their trip, just around the corner from their hotel in the Seaport district. Some warm-up shots at the ICA to start:

Wow, these turned out amazingly well Kate! We were excited about the shoot, but we didn’t realize how much fun we would have. I think we found a new tradition.
