On Thursday afternoon, I headed over to the beautiful countryside surrounding Natick for an engagement session with Emilie and Alexei. It was our first time meeting, and I loved them immediately. They are warm, generous, and super fun to hang out with. They also had some amazing ideas for our session together … including canoeing and fishing. Yay! We spent most of our session at Alexei’s parents’ backyard, where they spend a lot of time in the summer when they’re back home from Chicago. Some canoeing photos to start off:
These two are very playful; it was important to me that I capture that … and I love these photos for just that reason.
They like to fish together; and Alexei is quite the talented fisherman I hear …
How much would I like to have this walkway down to the Charles River in my backyard? Quite a lot. 🙂
Hammocks are always a fun spot for cute couples pictures:
Alexei’s mom’s beautiful kitty made an appearance. She was afraid of sound of the camera shutter, but sooo friendly when I put my camera down.
Such a pretty yard …
I overheard Alexei tell Emilie that she looked like an owl, so of course I had to take a photo of her beautiful big eyes:
We headed over to their wedding venue – The Connors Family Retreat – for a little look around. It’s an amazing place for a wedding, and I can’t wait to photograph Emile and Alexei’s there later this summer!
Thank you both for a beautiful afternoon … and I hope you love your teaser photos!
This is such a cute session!
Beautiful. Always beautiful. You never disappoint. My favorite might be the three bw on the dock.
