After the ceremony, it began raining again – but we refused to let the rain ruin our portrait session so off we went, umbrellas in hand, to the bright walls and doorways surrounding Brown University. I have never been more thankful for a morning scouting session! My favorite photo stop was back at the law court (the first images in this set); but I also liked our first spot, the yellow house higher up on College Hill.
Lots of bright greenery found its way into our second set. I love the shot with the iron gate … steamy!
Bailey spotted this other gate at the entrance to the park … I thought the light might be tricky here but I like how these turned out:
During my morning scout this was maybe my favorite building. Also, these guys are such naturals when it comes to posing … it made my job so easy!
And finally, back at the Supreme Court building … such a perfect spot for a wet and gray afternoon. The light was perfect …
The final installment of Bailey and Joe’s wedding will be along shortly.
These are some of your best ones yet! I love the yellow house and the red door.
Thanks Laura – I had a lot of fun taking these.

Absolutely gorgeous shots as always Kate, I especially love the one of the bride and groom holding the gate, it’s stunning!
