A couple of weeks ago, I was asked by Jesse Canterbury to photograph him again, this time for a CD he is releasing with Bill Smith, one of the Pacific Northwest’s greatest experimental jazz musicians and teachers. I went along to The Good Shepherd Center in Wallingford to photograph them – a place where they often practice and perform. The light was pretty challenging (it’s a dark place in the afternoon!) but I loved the beautiful old windows in the former chapel on the fourth floor. Here’s one of my favorite images from our session – it’s actually a Photoshop merge of two separate photographs.
