A little over a week ago, I met up with Ada and Jon for their Fenway engagement session. These two sweeties are getting married at my favorite wedding venue, the magnificent State Room Boston, in April next year, and I am already excited for their wedding! They found me through Ada’s colleagues, fellow medical residents Sonja and Daniel (who happen to be my next-door neighbors). I love all the connections I find between my clients!

Anyway, back to the session. I met up with Ada and Jon at their apartment in Fenway, and they kindly drove me around for the evening. They only had one spot in mind, the Cambridge footbridge (or to give it its proper title, the John W. Weeks Bridge), so I suggested we first take a relaxed stroll around their neighborhood and see what we found. I really like working this way, and we found some beautiful light and gorgeous locations. Here are Jon and Ada, strolling along outside the back of the MFA:

I spotted the beautiful light hitting this tiny footbridge in the Back Bay Fens and figured it would be a good spot to stop for a photo:

My favorite photos are always the ones that are filled with laughter. Perfect, guys!

I asked Jon and Ada to hold hands as I was framing up a wider shot … but I focused in on this sweet detail instead.

I often call this next one “the mom shot”, because what mom wouldn’t want a sweet, simple photo of her kids smiling at the camera? But truth be told, who wouldn’t want at least one photo like this with their favorite person in the world? Maybe I should start calling it “the Facebook shot”. 🙂
