Over the Christmas break, I got to second shoot for one of my favorite photographers in the whole wide world, Mister Phill. Phill is an immensely talented Dorset wedding photographer who can be found working all around England. I usually like to talk about the weddings I photograph, but Phill is so eloquent (and hilarious) that I’m going to let him do all the talking today, and instead just share a few favorite photos from the day. You can find his getting ready post here, his ceremony post here, and the reception in two parts – here and here. 🙂 Thank you so much, Phill, for letting me come along and work with you; to Caroline, Tom and their wonderful families for the immensely warm welcome and the fantastic bangers and mash (best wedding meal ever!) and to my home country for turning on the big snow machine in the the sky while I was home. It was immense!
Caroline got ready surrounded by family:
The red was so bold against the white snow and soft gray sky that day …
I loved the expressions. It was an emotional roller-coaster of a day from the very start as calls of cancellations came in from friends and family who had been snowed out of London.
The wedding was held at the magnificent Hampton Court House, right next to the Palace.
The ceremony took place in front of huge windows looking out onto the snow-filled fields of Hampton Court. Perfect.
The reception was downstairs in a striking red room. I love the checkerboard floors!
The cake toppers were … Lego men!
I hoped you enjoyed the little taste of England. It was pretty great to be back.
Oh wow, how lovely!!! I LOVE the shot of the snow scene!! ahh! So pretty and the getting ready images are perfect!
Thank you ladies 🙂
Just stunning! the creative touches and gorgeous back drop = fantastic pictures!
A great set of images – what a fantastic location
I really like the contrast of the snow and all the different colors. Great work!
Masterful! What a joy to see and read all of Phill’s posts — SO funny! Together, you and Phill captured amazing, dynamic images full of wit and love — I hope that there are more opportunities for you two to collaborate in the future!
Thanks all for the comments! Liezl, I hope that is possible too. Maybe next winter, if he’ll have me again. 🙂
Fantastic job Kate! Of course, I already knew that :~)
If you’re a prospective client browsing these pages, book Kate, now. You’d be mad not to. The excellence of her work speaks for itself but her perfect blend of professionalism and fun is something you can then look forward to experiencing.
