The fall is a beautiful time for an engagement session, and especially when you’ve got locations like the Arnold Arboretum and Larz Anderson Park in which to photograph them! Even better when your couple is as cute as these two – and stylish too! Happy days. Katie and Kraig are getting married next fall at the Lenox Hotel in downtown Boston, and being huge fans of this gorgeous time of year they wanted their engagement photos to show it off.

We met up on a weekday afternoon a couple of hours before sunset to take advantage of the gorgeous light we’re getting around that time. Katie and Kraig admitted that they were really nervous about being in front of the camera, but they quickly relaxed and did an awesome job of just being their cute selves. We took a little wander around the Arnold Arboretum first. It was such a treat to be back there, especially now that the leaves are beginning to turn, and it was the perfect setting for these two cutie-pies.

Our second spot was one of my all-time favorites: Larz Anderson Park in Brookline. I love it there because it has such a good mix of backgrounds, from manicured lawns to woody pockets to big expanses of green on the hill. It also has some very pretty structures to add further variety to the photos. Thank you Katie and Kraig for a very fun afternoon, and for being so trusting of me and my huge camera!
