A couple of weeks ago, I met up with Tom and Libby for their Boston engagement session. Libby currently lives in Michigan, and Tom in New York City, so although Boston is home to neither it was a great getaway spot for their engagement photos, following Thanksgiving weekend with Libby’s family in Rhode Island. We didn’t have the best weather that weekend, and it was bitterly cold out that afternoon, so I suggested we meet at the public library, where we could take some photos inside, with the beautiful architecture and much-welcomed heat!
Tom’s reading about New York in his giant tome, while Libby researches their Italian honeymoon (love it!)
The courtyard is one of my very favorite spots in Boston for portraits. I’m in love with the romantic archways and soft, creamy stone.
Another favorite spot right near the library is the Christian Science Plaza. It always seems to have great light, even on cloudy days, and we managed not to get too crazy chilled on the short walk over there. I love how Libby’s laughing in this next one:
And one final favorite to finish with … I thought the lines were pretty fun there. Thank you both for braving the cold and trusting me to take you to my favorite locations in Boston! I can’t wait for your Rhode Island wedding early next summer!
super adorable!
Very sweet! I especially love the window shot!
