HARVARD SQUARE AND MIT ENGAGEMENT SESSION: JESSICA + ANDREW

Nov 19, 2012 | Engagements

Once upon a time it was fall in Boston and I spent a crazy few days photographing a newborn baby, three engagement sessions, an all day magazine photoshoot, and a fashion shoot for my hair salon. And then, immediately after that, I jumped on a plane and flew to Arizona, where I spent almost two weeks, taking a little time off, enjoying the sunshine, and then getting educated in all things wedding photography. And now it’s almost winter, but I’m back! And I have so many photographic treats in store for you over the coming two weeks …

First up is this lovely Korean couple, Jessica and Andrew. These two sweethearts met earlier this year, and they’re getting married in December! I love it when things happen like this – my hubby and I *knew* almost immediately too, and we moved in together after just three months. So huge congrats to these two! For their engagement session, we spent a couple of hours exploring some of their favorite spots around Harvard Square and MIT in Cambridge. I have to say, MIT is such a great place for photos – the architecture there is just so. cool.

Nothing makes me happier during an engagement session than a big ol’ belly laugh. Love it guys!

We were battling some pretty harsh midday sun by this point but I loved the light and shade between the columns at the Maclaurin Building:

And one last teaser from our final stop in Harvard Square. Thank you Jessica and Andrew for a great morning in Cambridge, and to Maithy for referring Jessica to me. I hope you enjoy these teasers, and I’ll have the full set ready very soon!
