Last weekend, I had the pleasure of returning to the lovely Lyman Estate out in Waltham for a sweet fall wedding. The couple would prefer to remain anonymous, so I’ll keep the words to a minimum today and let you just enjoy the photos instead.

Getting ready on your wedding day should always include a Champagne toast …

The guys also got ready on-site at the Lyman Estate:

We held the first look outside, in the beautiful grounds. It was a chilly afternoon, but the light was so pretty. I love the angle that my assistant Erica got here:

It was so cold outside, and so pretty in, that I suggested we take some portraits around the mansion:

Then it was back outside for the wedding party photos – these guys were such troupers!

I’m so happy that they went ahead with an outdoor ceremony, despite the cold. It was beautiful out there!

The ceremony was short, but super sweet and full of emotion (and the occasional giggle!)

The bride created a beautiful, crafty, vintage feel to the reception. She sourced around a hundred vintage vases, all slightly different, and the mansion was decorated with these gorgeous displays:

Instead of a guest sign-in book, the couple asked their guests to sign squares for a quilt. I love this idea!

The first dance was full of smiles and laughter:

Instead of a traditional cake, the couple served cupcakes and popcorn in one of the smaller rooms in the mansion. There were some amazing popcorn flavors including wild blueberry, cinnamon, and white chocolate with peanut butter (yum!)

The band was awesome – there was quite the party after dinner!
