Katie and Kyle live in Jamaica Plain, my neighborhood, and I was really happy that they chose to show me around their little corner of this fun, gritty, beautiful ‘hood for our engagement session. Katie was super nervous when we started photos, but the two of them are ridiculously cute together, and I really love the moments we captured. We started out from their home near Stony Brook T Station and wandered through the Southwest Corridor Park for much of the session. I LOVE photographing in new places, so this was a real treat for me. 🙂
These guys laugh together a LOT …
We captured some more intimate moments too – and these were some of my favorites:
I did something I hadn’t done before during an engagement session – I climbed a tree! That was fun. 🙂
We then headed to the home of Boston’s best ice cream: JP Licks! Their ice cream sundae looked delicious, and I loved the side of silliness that came with it.
One last shot from our final stop, Jamaica Pond. Thank you so much for a really fun afternoon, guys, and I can’t wait for your wedding this summer!
