After the ceremony and some speedy family formals, K’s parents kindly drove A and K around for some couples portraits. We were originally hoping to get some beachy seafront photos, but the harsh sunlight and huge crowds were making it tough, so we instead headed back towards K’s parents’ home to a little spot I’d discovered earlier in the day. I love these shots!
The reception was held at the stunningly beautiful Narragansett Towers, one of my new favorite venues. Just look at this gorgeous setup:
We rounded up the ladies for a few photos before dinner – love these fun, bright dresses, and the girls’ huge smiles:
A and K went straight into their first dance before dinner. There were so many emotions during this one dance …
This was one of the most kid-friendly receptions I’ve been to; so much cuteness. 🙂
Some funny toasts by the best man and matron of honor …
… followed by an incredibly emotional toast from K’s (absent) grandfather:
Dinner was followed by the parent dances:
And the rest of the night was spent doing some serious dancing! One of my favorite moments was the dance-off between K and A, organized by the band.
Thank you all for an awesome afternoon and evening; I hope you’ve enjoyed the teasers! If you haven’t already, I’d love for you to like my Facebook page (click here). I’ll be posting these photos to an album there in a few days – watch this space!
Love the cerulean and the pinks. So pretty 🙂
