Kim and Jason’s wedding day was an immense day for me. I left the house before 9am and got home after 11pm – and I was shooting for most of that time! The main reason it was such a long day was because they chose to honor both of their cultures by having two ceremonies. The first was a Catholic mass in Kim’s home town of Plymouth, MA, at St Peter’s Church. Kim’s cousin’s, who were handing out programs, wore Vietnamese dresses – love them!
Kim and Jason didn’t need to do a first look as there was lots of time between the two ceremonies for portraits, so I made sure to grab a couple of shots of Jason seeing Kim for the first time as she walked down the aisle with her father – I love his expression in the image above!
There were several readings, a full homily and communion – I love having this much time to photograph the ceremony!
I caught so many sweet moments between Jason and Kim during the ceremony. I just adore how they look at each other.
After the ceremony we headed over to Brewster Gardens for some portraits. Kim and Jason’s couple shots will be coming in the next post – but I had to share these fun bridal party pics with you here:
It was so fun having that gorgeous bright red to work with after a year of soft blues …
Lots more coming your way soon, including the Jewish ceremony, some gorgeous couples portraits and of course a completely crazy dance-fest of a reception. 🙂
