Provincetown and Rooftop at the Taj Boston Wedding: Crissy + Ellen

It’s been a few weeks, but I’m so excited to share this Taj Boston wedding with you finally, with lots more blog posts coming soon! A few weeks ago, I traveled down to Provincetown at the tippy top of Cape Cod for a very intimate Friday wedding. Crissy and Ellen chose to marry at the Harbor Lounge in Provincetown in front of just their very closest family members. Neither bride likes to be in the spotlight, and it enabled them to fully enjoy their emotional (and very fun) ceremony. I haven’t included any ceremony photos in this post, so as to respect the brides’ privacy, however the first few slides are from the rest of that beautiful sunny afternoon we spent in P-Town, including some of my favorite recent portraits. I had such fun taking photos on the beach and around town!

On Saturday afternoon, I joined the brides once again for their Taj Boston wedding reception. We had another gorgeous day, and the brides were in high spirits. It was super fun being able to watch them enjoying some teaser photos from the day before while they were getting ready. Jen DelMonaco at The Bride Beautiful did both hair and makeup for both brides and she was amazing! Not only was she speedy, but she was also such a delight to work with, and she had all sorts of useful tips and tricks to share as the ladies were getting dressed. She was fabulous! Also helping out was wedding planner extraordinaire Bernadette Coveney Smith of 14 Stories, and I love the photo of her and Jen helping Crissy into her dress.

After some portraits in the Public Garden and on Commonwealth Ave, we joined cocktail hour on the rooftop, then after some really delicious appetizers it was time for dinner. Ellen and Crissy’s sisters all gave toasts, along with Ellen’s father. The rest of the evening was spent dancing – and our photobooth was also very popular! Thank you ladies for trusting me to document your beautiful celebration. If you’d like to see some more Taj Boston wedding photos, click here.
