BOSTON ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS AT NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY & THE FENS: PAULA + MATT

Jul 16, 2012 | Engagements

I’ve just come to the end of what has been the busiest ten days so far this summer – it’s prime engagement session season on top of being the middle of wedding season, plus I also had two family shoots thrown in for good measure. Phew! Still, that means there’s lots of good stuff to share with you over the next week or two, including this very fun engagement session with Paula and Matt.

Paula and Matt met at Northeastern University, where Paula is currently going into her senior year, and they both live right in the neighborhood (Paula on campus and Matt close by in Symphony) so meeting there for pictures was a great choice. Plus, you can’t beat the beauty of the Back Bay Fens for natural beauty, or the Christian Science Plaza for architectural awesomeness. We started out with some pretty, outdoorsy pictures in the Fens – I love this photo from the rose garden:

Then Matt and Paula donned their sports jerseys for some photos against the MFA (do you like Mr Spaceman in the next one?)

These guys are awesome. 🙂

We headed onto campus next, and after a speedy clothing change we grabbed some photos near the place where they almost had their first kiss (there’s a cute story there).

Then some fun/cute/silly dancing photos:

Then we headed over to the Christian Science Plaza where this super cute doggy distracted us for a moment:

A couple of final favorites from the CSP – and yes, I braved the fountain for the shot below … possibly not the smartest thing I’ve done recently! Thank you Paula and Matt for a super fun afternoon – I’m excited for your wedding next summer!
